The show was great. I didn't get there early enough to see Blue County but I did catch most of Rachel Proctor's performance. B2B and Cedar Creek, both local groups, performed. Pin Monkey came on before Randy Travis. Randy brought everyone to their feet and all were singing along, dancing, and clapping. He was a hit.
The weather held up for us and it only sprinkled for a short time. It cleared up for Randy's performance.
The radio station K95 gave away tickets for the concert. All you had to do was go to a ticket stop at a sponsor's business on the scheduled day. They expected 40,000 people. I don't know how many were there but the crowd was huge.
