Yep, that was a toughie... It's New Hampshire. They actually allow candidates to simultaneously run for President & V.P. David Duke did just that and got a few hundred votes for his presidential bid, but on the same ballot also ran for vice-president and received over ten thousand votes!

Here is today's trivia question:

Which New England state produces 90% of the country's toothpick supply?

HI, My name is Kitty and I am a trivia addict....

I tried, I REALLY did....(I even knew the NH answer!) but, I have a children's book manuscript and a deadline to meet. BUT, I just can't seem to stay away. My fingers bring me to this trivia contest without conscious thought! LOL

The answer is: MAINE!!!

Oh Kitty ... you are too funny! ... but I can relate. I've got two courses to write and be ready to teach beginning October 15th and I am easily distracted and off on a tangent.

Focus ... what is that.

What is the book you are writing??????

It is a fictional children's series about children's dreams and a magical land where these dreams are answered.

I wrote it with my son (then 6) and sent it out to publishers. After getting TONS of rejections, I packed it away. Just recently, I came across a publisher and sent them a synopsis. They requested a look and have decided to publish it...as long as I get the completed manuscript into them by deadline for editing, etc.,!!!

It has potential they say. Woo hoo! For other books, a show, etc., BUT, we will see - gots to get the book done first! LOL -- FOCUS, Kitty!

Go Kitty! It sounds like a wonderful book.

Maybe we need a forum for trivia addicts. How to control the urge, stay on track with life and recovery. Nah, that wouldn't be as much fun as the trivia.
