As for the campaign slogan ... my guess is George W. Bush but I'm guessing here.

Yes, Buddy is Providence's beloved mayor ... althought he's not running in the upcoming election, he would be elected if he did ... no question about it.

I've been to Boston's Italian section and of course Federal Hill, Providence but I didn't know Hartford had an Italian section ... hmmmm I'll have to ask my aunt about that one. I guess, since CT is not my favorite NE state whenever I needed to go into Hartford, I simply went to the Fleet building ... took care of business and shot on back home to RI without paying attention to anything surrounding me. <G>

OK. Here's a hint for today's trivia question:

This person ran for governor of one of the New England states.

You got it! It was Swell Mel Thompson. He managed to plaster his campaign slogan on every car in New Hampshire.

Here's the updated score:

My inclination was to say Maine since it's the coldest of the NE States but I had to verify it soooo here's the evidence.....

The state of Maine was once known as the "Earmuff Capital of The World".
Earmuffs were invented there by Chester Greenwood in 1873. ...

Catching up ... <G>
