Wow, talk about controlling! I don't think he's doing his son any favors by inhibiting him from growing up and accepting responsibility on his own. I feel really sorry for the kid. How is he going to learn to act and react in the world on his own? What if his dad died tomorrow--could be function?
In my view, it is a parents RESPONSIBILITY to make sure their kids grow up respectful and responsible adults. Do you believe he's doing that?
