If you have an aeon and it has its overdrive full, then you can blast seymour and that thingy beside him. If you damage the thingy hard enough, then it will take away some of Seymour's health points. I believe you're thinking of Seymour Natis. Flux is on Mt. Gagazet. Well, you could always cast Bio on him and defend for the whole fight, only refraining from defending when you need to heal. That works. Or, use Trio of 9999.
or summon bahuamut (or something like that) in overdrive blast him, then grand summon him blast him doing a easy 50 k damage

Now I have no idea about what Seymour battle you guys are talking about but a Mighty Guard will always do the trick nicely. Use Kimahri's Ovderdrive and choose Mighty Guard or get Rikku up there and let her mix either a Antidote with a Lunar- Light- or a Star-Curtain for Mighty Wall. Or a Remedy plus any of the -Curtains for Mighty Guard. Or any of the second or third grade elemental gems with any curtain for Super Mighty Guard. OR if you already have this though I doubt that, a Gambler's Spirit and any of the -Curtains for a Hyper Mighty Guard.
