I found several level 4 key spheres while I was roaming around in the Omega ruins. They were located in various chests. Just wear a piece of no-encounters armour and go look for chests. Or indeed if you need to capture some neat monsters or if you just need AP, you could fight your way around the ruins too.

Perhaps this is common knowledge, but I thought I'd mention it since it's not mentioned in the walkthrough-section on this site. (not listed under the "Level 3 and 4 Key Sphere Locations" part anyway)

yeah-its a little game thingy.try get all the chests without one of them being a fight.u can open all 12 if u pick the right ones, but its stupid <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> hehe!and yeah-u often get 4spheres from boss fights and in the arena <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

but i think you can steal from the earth eater in the monster arena or you can sometimes rarely get through some arena fiends that drop it

you can bribe them from the chimera brains in the calm lands for 196,000 gil. you get one a piece. BTW, thanx for whoever told me that a while back. i give credit where credit is due if i could remember who it was <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
