Oh boy. This is always tough.

I'm preparing a power point for our genealogy round table tomorrow dealing with organizing genealogy: do you have files, binders, piles, or maybe a blog?
I have all of these. I have letters that were written ages ago to people who were my grandparents' ages and they responded with information about the family and their parents and grandparents - that could be 4 or 5 generations. I have a lot of files by surname and place. I've tried to put the stories in binders. I have piles which haven't been filed yet. And I have a blog on wordpress. As I work on an ancestor and begin putting the story together, I will try to write the story up and post it. Better to share than hoard. I don't want a researcher spinning their wheels looking for information which I already have. I want them to find new information and, hopefully, share it with me

Tell me how you organize your genealogy.
