I am not sure if this was a juvenile scarlet tanager or a summer tanager, but he kept knocking on our window. He never it the window hard enough to hurt himself. It was like he was trying to land on a branch. I put some tape on the window to change the appearance of the shadows on the window in case he saw the reflection of a tree in the window. This went on for almost a month but he is gone now.
