anyone know how i can get FFVIII to work with windows xp?

FF VIII works fine with me on xp, it's FF VII that doesn't work for me

things that might help:
- download an XP patch.
- XP has an ability that you can play games as though you have windows 95 or 98.

i got VII to work on xp u just have to change the requirements

I downloaded like 7 patches or sumtin and I put the windows different I changed the colours to 256 wich might also do it but nuffin works

it could be cuz I got XP and I got a GeForce 4 ti-4200

gerb, if u got two computer, send ur save file to the other computer, beat the chocobo race (the part that freezes) then send it back to your good computer. thats what i did <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

duuuuuuude it just doesnt work at all

thanks for the reply. i'm kinda computer illiterate so tell me where i can get this patch. i already tried the compatibility thing and it didn't work. if anyone has this working on xp, please explain how you did it in detail.

Oh it suddenly struck me how I can play FF VII again we got more computers at home Im sure we still got one under xp and geforce 4 ti4200 <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
I mean we got 14 or sumtin I'll have to look :rolleyes:
