Hello Everyone,

Do you grow any fruit trees in containers?

I have a lemon tree that as been doing well and gives me lemons often enough but I was thinking of growing others and wanted to find out if you grew any and which your favourites might be. Apple? Peach? Pomegranate?

Is anyone growing an olive tree in a container? I wonder if that would work?

Let us know please and perhaps you could share some fertiliser secrets.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers

I've never tried that. Next time I'm at a nursery I will ask about fruit trees suitable for containers. I cannot plant in the yard because of the deer but the deck might work well. Of course, squirrels and raccoons might be a problem.

Hi Angie and all,

If it is your first time growing a tree in a container, you can't go too wrong with a lemon tree, and the fruit is so useful and healthy too!

I am hearing horror stories about huge snowfalls and freezing temperatures across the USA. Are you still in very wintery conditions? What on earth is is doing to your containers?

Stay warm and talk to your plants!

Cheers
