We attended a festival dinner tonight - The Boars Head Festival. The Lord of Misrule was the master of ceremonies. The hosts were dressed in costume of early England- Virginia - 1600s. The piper played, the drummer drummed, the Lord of Misrule ingled his jingles, we had berry porter, cider, mulled wine with a dinner of salad, vegetables, salmon, goose, suckling pig, rabbit, venison pie, and a little fruitcake. Fun was had by all. The event was held at Henricus Park
