I'm working on a newspaper project at my local historical society.

I scan the pages to an unsearchable format.
Using FileCenter I am able to make them searchable - OCR.
The final copy is placed in a folder called newspaper project - complete.

I tested the process: I opened the folder on my laptop.
Using File Explorer I did a search for a name.
A number of pages came up.
I opened the file and was able to do a search for the name and voila - it worked.

I transferred the folder Newspaper project - complete to a 500 gb Sandisk drive.
I tested the process again.
The message is No Results Found.

What do I need to do to make this work? I would like it to be like searching on Chronicling America.loc or newspapers.com or genealogy bank.

Well, I slept on this for a couple of nights reviewing some answers from another source and I think I have the problem resolved.

Settings, Privacy and Security, Searching - I'm testing this on various computers and hope it is the answer.
