First Reading : Jonah 3:1-5,10
Responsive Psalm : Psalm 24(25):4-6,7b-9 (my parish did a different response Psalm today. Psalm 25 beginning at 4)
Second Reading : 1 Corinthians 7:29-31
Gospel : Mark 1:14-20

Father was saying today so often we hear Let go, Let God or We believe in God but do we believe God. Just like in Jonah today, the people of Nineveh heard Jonah but knew it was not Jonah's voice they heard but God's voice. They changed almost immediately and listened to God's Word.

In the Gospel, the fishermen heard Jesus call to them and they dropped everything and everyone to follow Him.
