Today's Gospel has to do with the mustard seed, that tiny seed that grows into some much larger than expected. I do not know what a mustard plant looks like once grown but I understand that it grows very quickly and it is a very important source of spices and oil depending on the variety.
Bishop Barron's reflection from his blog yesterday says, "So don’t be afraid to do small things at the prompting of God! Plant the seed, make the move, take the risk—take even the smallest step, and don’t worry about who notices or how much attention you’re getting. Sow the seed and leave the rest to the mercy and providence of God."https://www.wordonfire.org/
