Every year people across the globe stop for a moment to consider their New Year Resolutions for the following year but few of these still hold a few months, or even weeks, later. It has been found that if you make SMART Decisions, you are far more likely to stick to your resolutions. See:

New Year Resolutions - S.M.A.R.T Decisions

Do you use tools like 'S.M.A.R.T' or do you find it quite easy to make a decision and stick to it?

Wishing you all a happy and successful New Year!
Joy

In just over a month, this year will be over!

Has anyone started thinking about 'New Year Resolutions' or do you think that's now an outdated exercise?

Warm wishes
Joy

I have a to do list which I try to work on and update periodically. I don't make New Year's resolutions per se. I may update my list after evaluating what I have and haven't done. Needs and projects change all the time.

Angie, the beauty of 'resolutions' is that you can make them at any time of the year. All the best with updating your list, Joy

A genealogist friend wrote a blog about resolutions and she suggested a one word challenge.

Hi Angie, I've just read the article you recommended. A 'one word' challenge? Mine would be 'JOY'. In fact, it has been so for decades!

What is your 'one word' for 2023? Joy

'Gratitude' is a great word, Angie, especially as it also permeates every aspect of our lives! Joy
