Sunny, uncomfortably hot day. But beautiful evening. We were out at 8.30 and people were still on the beach and swimming in the sea, lots of canoeists, and a few frolicking dolphins. Fantastic. But I'm dreading the heat of the day tomorrow.

Yesterday it was changing, raining off/on, foggy off/on and windy.
At night it was windy.
When I went to bed it was windy and the sun was getting ready to rise.
When I got up it was changing and windy.

London. Still hot, over 80F today, but tolerable if not in direct sunlight or if you could catch the breeze. I went for an early walk this morning before it got too hot.

In Central Illinois on July 4th, almost 1pm, the heat index is 100. We are on the porch with vases of lemon balm, catnip and a fan to keep the skeeters away. Accu Radio is playing the hits from July 1969. Perfect Summer Day!
