Dear readers of baseball,
Post your fondest home opener memories here! How old were you?Who took you? Did you catch a foul ball? Eat a hot dog and cotton candy? Was it warm or freezing cold??
Baseball games evoke so many memories with my family. And we've passed this down to our kids and we know they'll pass that down to theirs.
Ballparks have made whole summer memories, your name on the scoreboard or you threw out a ceremonial pitch or you get choked up hearing the National Anthem as the vendor in the background stops clattering his beer cooler out of respect just long enough as you hear them say...Play ball! A beer here, hot dog! First pitch!
Happy summer, happy baseball memories!
