Dear Baseball Fans,
Allegations against Chicago Cubs player Addison Russell have been brought forth by the best friend of the player's wife on an Instagram account.
The MLB is quick to act, as well as the Chicago Cubs President Theo Epstein did as well. There are very little facts right now, so at this point, no one can be sure that anything is true. But, this player isn't playing and he will not play until this is resolved or until there are more facts that one can judge this case on.
The MLB and his coach has had talks with his wife. And the MLB has started an investigation into the matter.
I don't know if these players know that at the age of 23 (as Russell is) they are truly adults and have to conduct themselves in this manner, and that clearly means NEVER laying a hand on a woman, period!
