This is National Library Week and today, in particular, is National Library Workers Day. A big thank you to everyone who staffs our local libraries! Making books available to all is one of the rights/obligations of a democracy; we can't function without an informed citizenry.

You are so right Angela! Access to books and other library materials is essential for having well-informed citizens.
