Hello Everyone,

Having been away and gone for a very long time I need to apologise to you all and to catch up. So!

Are there any specific subjects you would like me to tackle? Something you want more information on? Gardening tips and experiences you want to hear more about?

Please let me know.

Here in Johannesburg (South Africa as you all know) the late summer weather is glorious with blue blue skies and rain and recent thunderstorms - which means that the drought has broken in a small way in many areas though our dams are still only just above 50% full. We need more rain but the gardens are looking fine and the plants just love the sunshine.

There is a nip in the air though which tells me autumn is on the way or at least sneaking a peek. Of course our southern hemisphere winters cannot be compared - we don't get snow and our temperatures hover around 14C on a very cold day!

I hope you are warm wherever you are and that your containers are weathering your winter well.

Let me know if there is something specific you would like me to talk about.

Cheers for now
