I just started a Lawrence Block suspense/thriller that was published back in the 70's. It's delightful, and definitely on the lighter side of the genre. While I often choose books that are a little more recent to review on the site, and try to pick up the newest best sellers, I thought I'd ask you readers whether you pay attention to whether a book is new or old. Does the publishing date help determine if you want to read a book, or are your choices based on other criteria?

I do not pay attention whether a book is old book or not. If it interests me then I will buy then read it.
