Why in the world is Fat Shaming considered reasonable? Should we harass any person - EVER!! - over how they look?

It's just that now the word shaming is used too often. People gets offended over anything and they use that word amongst other things. So when people use that word even if it is correct for that situation it lost all meanings thanks to the special snowflakes so those victims of it do not get justice (just like with sexism and racism + the people victims of crimes - nobody is believed anymore because snowflakes screams those words for nothing).

I have fixed the link.

I don't think shaming is used too often at all. I think that fat shaming has been going on for years and fat people were supposed to "take it." To call a person a snowflake for speaking up when they are being harassed is dismissing their valid complaints.

No person should *ever* be made fun of because of their body shape, size, or color. Speaking up when that harassment occurs is never wrong.

I would like to see some evidence that "nobody is believed any more." If anything, people are finally being taken seriously when they speak out.

These people are called special snowflakes because they freak out over anything. Compliments, someone smiling at them, someone saying hi to them, someone looking at them, nobody looking at them, nobody saying hi to them, it never ends. Or they scream racist or sexist or something else when things do not go their way. It is insane and I am glad that finally people are getting fed up and not taking it anymore, I sure would of loved for these people to have woken up before now but at least they waking up now. Donald Trump will be elected thanks to these snowflakes, everytime one of them make a scene in any way that is at least one more vote for him.

I have been made fun of all my life and one of the things I was (still am) made fun of is me being thin but hey we have to take it because it is not the same as when fat people are being made fun of (just like white cannot be victims of racism and men cannot be victims of sexism).

Being fat is not healthy, just saying that which is the truth is considered shaming. Doctors are being criticised when they say to their fat patients to lose weight. It is insanity. But the funniest is when people say that even thin people can get diabetes, of course we can so imagine the percentage you have to get it when you are fat.

Saying that extra weight is not healthy, that with the more weight you have the more chance you have to get many diseases and saying you are fat when you are is not fat shaming. Just like saying that a criminal is a criminal is not racism when that person is black. Just like saying to a woman that if she wants the same pay as the men to get through the same steps, do the same job, start at the same time, end at the same time, have the same break time, have the same vacation time and retire at the same age is not sexism. Just like saying you want to find out if the allegations are real before believing a crime was done is not not believing victims.

PC culture is ruining society (that made me think of your thread about Pepsi - why should they take the sugar out of it - YOU do not want to drink sugar YOU drink something with no sugar you DO NOT ask for the companies that made sugary drinks to take out the sugar). Liberals and democrats are now worst than the republicans, I have no idea how they did it but years ago they were able to lower the bar republicans set and since then every single day they lower that bar even lower.

Your post was full of wild generalizations and no facts. I would like you to post a link to someone being upset because someone smiled at them. Post a link to someone getting up upset because someone said hi to them. Making up fake examples gets you zero credit.

You don't have to "take it" because you're made fun of for being thin. I have several friends who are thin and who get made fun of - and NONE of them take it. Why would you even say such a thing? It makes zero sense. Harassment is NEVER right.

Every body is different and there is no one set guideline for what percentage of fat is healthy on a given person. It is absolutely an individual body-by-body assessment. So your statement there is completely wrong as well. Being too thin is just as dangerous as being too fat. There is a healthy range for every body and it is different for every body.

It is a proven fact that women who do the exact same job as men, start at the same time, end at the same time, take the same break time, and have the same vacation time make FAR LESS than men in the exact same position. I worked in the tech industry for many years and this is absolutely true. Have you not read the studies? I can link you to hundreds of them. Have you never worked in a job and found this to be true? This is about as well documented as anything could possibly be.

Women in the EXACT SAME ROLE make less money:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jwebb/2016/0...b/#211acc4416ee

"That women receive lower wages than men is a known fact of most economies. However, Procurement Leaders recent research shows that female buyers are paid less than male buyers. That is, women are earning less for the same work.

The research is based on the responses of over 2,000 procurement professionals in different countries and industries. The study looks at the salaries of these individuals as well as unpacking the different pay available to men and women.

The data in this research shows clear evidence that women earn lower wages than their male counterparts even when in the same role."

Young women generally haven't started families yet - they are "even" with men in terms of time available - and even so those young women only earn 93% of what men make. And keep in mind that 38% of women have college degrees in that range vs only 31% of men. So the women are better educated than the men but the managers are hiring men and offering them more money to sign up. Why? Because in many cases the men are biased. Study after study shows that.

One simple example. Musicians used to audition live for getting a job. Hardly any women were hired. The hiring men claimed "the women weren't good enough." The orchestras were only 5% female.

The system changed to a blind audition system where a tape was sent in WITHOUT the hiring man knowing whether it was a male or female musician. They could only judge based on the talent of the musician.

POOF in just a few years suddenly 55% more females were hired. Did the musicians change?

No.

Now the bias of the hiring men was exposed. They didn't want WOMEN in their orchestras.

So now members here can post links in our posts? I thought it was still for moderators. If I can do it then I will provide you with some (maybe ill start with that idiot [who said that she would move out of the us if Trump wins] Lena Dunham that freaked out when she was at an event and a man at her table dared to not flirt with her and talk to her - she would of freaked if he would of done any of those things but hey you gotta make a storm out of nothing because if you do not you will be booted out of the snowflake club called social justice warriors).

That wage gap idiocy have been exposed as a myth and lie by feminists many years ago. It is against the law to pay less someone for the same work whether it is a woman or a man so this is why this is not happening in any of the countries where women have rights, if it was not against the law only women would be hired.

These numbers are just like the numbers feminists bring out about the supposed numbers of women who are raped or sexually abused in any other ways, it started with one out of five and now I think they are at one out of two, last year on one of Real Time episode there were two women who had made a movie about the so-called rape culture on campuses and one of them actually said that there is no place on Earth were there are no women who suffered by the hands of men, this is the hysteria that is feminism. If you really want to live in a rape culture go to India or any of the other countries where women do not have rights like Kenya.

It is sickening to keep lying like that and to scream rape or whatever else you want to scream. It is spitting in the face of real victims (women and men) and it is spitting in the face of all the women stuck in countries where they do not have rights.

Every of my jobs I did the same work as the men there and I was paid the exact same. The same goes with all of my friends who are women, most are in Canada but I have one in Australia, one in England and some in the United States and all of them of different ages and them too have always had the same check every week as the men working there because they all deserved their jobs and they did the same work and put on the same hours. The closest has a high paying job in the government, she has worked for the government for about a decade and yes she gets the same pay as the men working in her department (by the way when she was working in her first department she was alone for a while then she told me 3 women were assigned to her floor i warned her and she as a feminist said i was wrong but sure enough they tried to screwed her but her boss which was a man saw through them and she kept her job and they were fired).

I will go on YouTube and find a video and see if I can post it, if it works I will come here on another day and post more (if i do that then it may take a while - i will write a long post along with all the link that i will provide).

I was nice and found you one by a woman who do not cuss and yell. She articulates very well the facts. If this works then on a day where I will have a few hours to waste I will search the internet and give you links along with my thoughts on the subjects (hopefully i will not be as tired as i am right now and my grammar will be better blush lol). And if it do work I hope I wrote the link correctly, I'm used to sending links by emails so like that I can see if I wrote the links correctly or not before sending, here it goes!

Yes it worked cool! It sure did not when I joined, maybe I got that right after a certain amount of posts, anyway I will come here to respond if you do then later I will provide links with more facts, maybe take a day with each subjects, I'll see.

Oh and here's a bonus video, it is a funny satire of the patriarchy smile https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZPnCMVwQFk if you have a sense of humor you will laugh eventhough you believe it actually exists in your country, it is less than two minutes long.

Let's start at the beginning.

Yes, it's against the law to wage discriminate.

It's also against the law to speed.

Just because something is against the law doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

So that argument can be thrown out. Bringing it up makes zero point.

It was against the law for Donald Trump's son to post a picture of himself with his ballot. Clearly and fully against the law.

He did it anyway.

She brings up that most lawyers are men, for example. But that is a non-argument. Studies show that male lawyers get paid higher than women lawyers do, in the same position. What is the argument that says there are more male lawyers - therefore should they be paid more? That argument makes no sense.

She mentions education as a factor, but (from Time) in the 25-34 age group, 37.5% of women have a bachelor's degree or higher, while only 29.5% of men do.

Her section on location makes zero sense. Men and women live in all states. All states have the wage gap. She doesn't even try to say how it relates to a wage gap, because it doesn't. All she says is "some states pay more and some states pay less" which is true but men and women live in those states equally.

The hours worked argument (women average 7.8 hrs a day while men average 8.2 hours a day) MIGHT work if we were not finding gaps in the EXACT SAME JOB with the exact same working hours. It wouldn't make sense to compare a part-time librarian with a full-time lawyer, which is what she's trying to do there. That isn't what the wage gap is about.

Once again she's comparing "male" jobs paying more vs "female" jobs paying less which is again apples vs oranges, since the studies show that a man vs woman in the EXACT SAME JOB gets paid less. Look again at the study I linked to involving musicians. This has been proven over and over again.

She's worried about "Timber Cutters" dying and therefore needing to earn more? And she thinks that profession is going to statistically skew results of anything at all? Again, nonsensical. Alaska crab fishing is incredibly dangerous, they get paid well, and it still doesn't amount to a tiny drip in statistics.

She says if women were cheaper managers would hire them. By that logic managers would hire blacks and Hispanics, too. But studies prove managers (mostly white males) are biased to hire people "like them" - i.e. white males. They are making decisions based on who they want to work with, not about saving an extra $5000 a year in a corporate budget.

I am way too tired right now so I will not respond now in case I make a mistake or I am too hard to understand with all the grammar mistakes.

Maybe we should start a thread in a section about these topics and debate there with our links, tell me where it would be better for that (wage gap + rape culture + pc culture + etc - everything social justice related and maybe more).

Most of my links will probably be from YouTube and blogs made by the people I say freak out over nothing but I will try to make searches elsewhere too.

If this turns out into a shouting match I will stop so I am promising you that I will do my part that it does not end up like that. If that insomnia stops soon I will start my research soon too, I think that insomnia has been going on for two months at least (going back in the what did you do thread i could calculate these nights to know for sure), never had one like this before, I do not really feel tired but my brain is affected.

I never received it. I asked for it many times, all the other places where I have accounts sent me their notifications emails and I also have zero problems with my friends. I will go ask for that email one more time after this post is submitted.
