Angie,

I so miss farmer's markets! There was one for months when we lived in Saint-Hubert. When we lived in Ste-Florence one time for one day in a parking lot in a near town there was a very small one. Here apparently there's one but we have no idea where it is if indeed there is one. The stupidest thing about it is that here and the previous town we are surrounded by farms and yet we can only find fruits and vegetables that come from other countries in grocery stores!

Nancy, I guess they export it all. This is a small group but it is close to home. During the summer there is a regional one in downtown Richmond, VA but I don't go to that one.

I got off the ship in Flaam, a little tucked away at the end of a Norwegian fjord, almost surrounded by mountains. Went for a walk. And when we left, sat outside and enjoyed the view - mountains rising either side of the fjord, some still with some unmelted snow, spectacular scenery. In the late evening sat in the panoramic bar and watched the Sun go down. That may not seem like an evening's occupation, but sunsets take a long time in Norway, even in the southern part. Sunset was just after midnight, so I suppose we saw the "midnight Sun" - or would have, except that by then it was being filtered through some low cloud.

You must live on the ship. It is beautiful there and the days are long.

Yesterday I went to bed at 5:36 and got up at 13:50. I washed my bedding and contacted SFS for a one-hundred-fifth time. It was an average night and a very bad day.

Yesterday I went to bed at 4:54 and got up at 14:16. I watched MasterChef at 20:00, did some writing and planning (a while ago i realised i forgot to write some things down when planning what was ahead which then gave me an idea that i would of never done if the email account i choosed on november 13 and decided to keep while doing what needs to be done had not suspended me) and contacted SFS for a one-hundred-eighth time. It was a bad night and a very bad day.

What I've done today is work on next week's article and finished reading David Mitchell's The Bone Clock (Excellent!). Tonight will be getting poshed up for the black & white ball.
