I am excited for spring because I get to try out new fashions, like midi skirts. They remind me of school uniform bottoms, but in a much cooler sense. How are you guys/ladies embracing spring?

More spring colors and bright colors! I'm also looking at trying midi skirts but it's hard when you're only 5 foot! Oh and bathing suit shopping. :)

I understand both Cassie. I love the colors of spring and summer. Alas, it's been a bit chilly in Columbus, Ohio thus far. smile

Hey Cassie,

Try a form fitting midi skirt with pointed toe pumps. These shoes elongate the legs. Also, if you want a looser bottom, pleats are great. I would pair a pleated skirt with a short sleeved cropped blouse and kitten heels or higher heeled stilletos (whichever one you're more comfortable with). Or, if you want to wear flats, wear a pleated skirt, a crew neck white tucked in tee shirt with Oxford shoes. This look would be reminiscent of "Sandy" from the Grease cast, but hey, who's judging? Lol. Try it. As a matter of fact, go all out and add a sporty jacket to the mix! Enjoy

Love that idea LaTeisha! I will definitely try out all of those to see what style I like best the next time I go shopping. :)
