Do you have a favorite wine region that you like to visit for wine tasting?

One of my most favorite is Sonoma County. I love the Healdsburg area. The town is filled with fabulous restaurants and the Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley are right there. Lots of great wineries.

My fave is the Cape wine region of South Africa.

I will be in California later this year and am intending to visit Temecula and Santa Ynez

Any recommendations there?
