If you're into seasonal reads, October is the perfect time to read about ghosts, witches, vampires, etc. Of course, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire is the classic - if you haven't read it, you are really missing out. A more recent book, A Discovery of Witches is also a must read. There are several lighter books (cozies) that are fast reads: Bailey Cates' Magical Bakeshop Series which even has recipes, and Haunt Couture & Ghosts Galore by Rose Pressey, as well as Angie Fox's The Skeleton in the Closet. My reviews of these can be found in the book reviews section on the Suspense Thriller site.
Do any of you have other suggestions for good Halloween reads? I'm sure thriller suspense readers will welcome your feedback.
