Laurence Fishburne has signed on to play Nelson Mandela in the upcoming BET miniseries called "Madiba". The miniseries will be directed by Kevin Hooks and plans are to start filming in South Africa early in 2016. Fishburne will also be starring in the A&E network's remake of the classic miniseries "Roots".
