I tried - foolishly it seems - to combine my BellaOnline articles with Pinterest boards. This meant information and pictures additional to what was in the article. But it seems that unless you join Pinterest you can't see them, which must be very annoying for readers. I know that Pinterest has become quite popular, but not everyone has joined. So I'm having to convert the links to something accessible. (With a few hundred articles, this will be slow.) But I've now changed the following: 1. Mizar and Alcor - Horse and Rider 2. ABC of Astronomy - D is for Double Star3. Eris - Dwarf Planet 4. The Starry Crowns - Corona Australis : bellaonline.com/articles/art301553.asp 5. Four Historic Eclipses : bellaonline.com/articles/art301534.asp If you ever find a broken link anywhere in my articles, I'd be very grateful if you'd let me know.

Hi Mona, :-) I think that is the same with most social media type sites, you need to create an account to see what's posted.

Yes, Dianne, you're quite right. But Pinterest has only recently started making it members-only, and I've been using it for two years. Live and learn.

These now have new links: 1. ABC of Astronomy – C Is for Cosmic Rays2. Earthshine In the darkness of space we see the part of the Moon that the Sun illuminates. But sometimes there is a bright crescent Moon with a dark shadow filling in the rest of the Moon's face. What lets us see the Moon's night side, and how might the phenomenon detect life on distant worlds? 3. Polaris – Facts for Kids 4. These articles now have new links. 1. Columbus and the Flat Earth Myth Doesn't everyone know that in the 15th century people thought the Earth was flat? And that brave Christopher Columbus sailed westward from Spain to get to Asia to show that the Earth was round? Once I'd have answered “Yes†to both of these questions, but it turns out that they are myths. 2. Scorpius the ScorpionThere are some really beautiful images here. 3. Blood Moons and Lunar Tetrads 4. Saint Patrick's Day – Wearing the Cosmic Greenbellaonline.com/articles/art300945.asp 5. ABC of Astronomy – B Is for Bok Globulebellaonline.com/articles/art300907.asp

1. Sagittarius the Archer 2. Obsolete Constellations What happens to constellations when you don't want them anymore? Nothing, physically. They aren't real groups of stars like star clusters are. They're the products of human imagination, and they come and go. Here are half a dozen of my favorite obsolete constellations. 3. Beagle 2 – Lost and Found 4. Taurus the Bull : bellaonline.com/articles/art300646.asp 5. Syzygy - When Heavenly Bodies Align : bellaonline.com/articles/art300637.asp If you ever find a broken link anywhere in my articles, I'd be very grateful if you'd let me know.

The links are now changed in these articles: 1. Triton - Captive Moon of Neptune The Solar System's big moons are weird and wonderful, and Triton is no exception. It has ice volcanoes. Its "cantaloupe terrain" is unique in the Solar System. It's unlike the other large moons. And it orbits in the wrong direction, so it didn't form near Neptune. But where did it come from? 2. What Is Space Weather 3. Life and Death of the Sun 4. Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2014 : bellaonline.com/articles/art300010.asp 5. Auriga the Charioteer : bellaonline.com/articles/art50001.asp If you ever find a broken link anywhere in my articles, I'd be very grateful if you'd let me know.
