In other countries that speak French the people there do not act like Quebecers (except in Paris - must be where our ancestors come from).

Everything is about separation with these crazies. And they say French is important but most do not speak and write it correctly. Plus they love to make fun of the accents of people who learned it and at the same time criticising the ones who do not speak it.

They'd surely make fun of my mixture of what little French I remember along with a Southern drawl...I have no idea where that came from. It just is.

Some folks just are too damn full of themselves.

They also love to attack businesses that make sure are fully bilingual. Last year they tried to run out of business a small restaurant run by two old ladies for decades because they had one decoration with one word in English. And not long after they went after a woman who has a business online and that time it was because some of her customers had left critics in English on her Facebook page. The two old ladies had a lot of support and they won like that, the woman picked an attorney and soon after they said they would make an exception for her.

I don't understand how people can be so viscous. You respect and care for your elders. I can't tell you what I'm thinking about those that would do such a thing...

Good thing they had a lot of support so their business was saved. All that because they had one decoration with one English word. Only in Quebec!

I am so glad! If I was close I would stop by and have a bite to eat and bring all of my friends and family...

Yesterday I had to deal with dubbing five times.

Mom pushed my buttons 3 times and dad 6 times.

Yesterday I had to deal with dubbing five times and mom compared me to someone she hates one time.

Mom pushed my buttons 20 times and dad 9 times.

Yesterday I had to deal with dubbing four times and I stopped myself from going upstairs one time (it was late and i wanted to cook 1 last thing before starting my night routine - i just did not want to again have to open the oven fan at the max and have to stand there so i waited until the tv was closed to go up in the kitchen - turns out mom too was watching whatever dad was watching).

Mom pushed my buttons 5 times and dad 60 times (+2 when i was in bed).

Yesterday I had to deal with dubbing nine times.
