Yesterday it was mostly cloudy and windy.
At night it was windy.
When I went to bed it was windy.
When I got up it was windy and the sun was partly risen.

Much rain this week, down here in the western Caribbean! We have a "deep well" in our back yard to stop the yard from staying flooded and backing up into the house. HOWEVER, the well-hole has to have chicken-wire across it to stop the leaves all going down and clogging the shaft - and of course the leaves block the wire. So we have to go out in the rain and scrape them off with our hands once or twice a day! Sigh. It was easier when we were younger...
