How are the weather conditions in your area? Are you into your spring gardens yet? Have you set up your containers for the new season? Have you decided to grow something different this time around?

lovely sunny mild days this week.

Have planted out a tray of cornflowers grown from saved seeds into a long container that sits under the french windows, and planted two more trays of cornflower seeds destined for same container.

Potted some chilli seedlings, and am nuturing tomato seedlings due to go into growbags when they get big enough.

Last week we had awesome weather. This week is more so-so. Today we actually had a bit of hail even though the temp was in the 50's. So far my gardening has just consisted of raking up the old stuff -- leaves, broken branches, the old stems on perennials.

But now I can see the green growth a'coming! SPRING! FINALLY!!

Have planted annuals in pots and placed on plant stand on protected garden wall ... lettuce in greenhouse has sprouted and will be moved to pots on that wall when they're larger.
