I'm in Holdenville, Oklahoma. It's 20 degrees and starting to snow pretty heavily. We're supposed to go into a whiteout by tonight and that means (here) no electrical power.

daisybun,

I hope you do not lose your power! It always sucks especially when it is during Winter! If it does I hope you can keep warm until it comes back!

Here in Portsmouth UK it's coldish, but no snow. It might rain a bit tomorrow, so grateful for the North Atlantic Drift! smile

We're supposed to get some snow here in the Midwest. Could be a lot. Ugh. I wish I could find old man winter.

I hope you do not lose your power. We once had a storm that knocked our power out for a week. YIKES! Fortunately, we have a wood stove and I could boil water or heat food I felt like I was living in the 1800s.

I'm crossing my fingers that the meteorologists are wrong this time. Ugh! I'd much rather have a nice rock n roll thunderstorm!

Yesterday it was partly cloudy and windy.

At night it was windy.

When I went to bed it was windy.

When I got up it was mostly sunny and windy.

Electricity is supposed to go out today according to the weather report. They see no reason why it wouldn't. So I made food ahead -- I baked bread, made a pizza and I also made homemade crackers to go with soup I can head on the gas stove.

Today (Saturday) it's 21 degrees. Super cold! And we have about 6 inches of snow here in Holdenville, Oklahoma. I'm judging the depth of the snow by looking out the window and seeing how far it is piled up the tree trunks.

What are you Global Cooling people doing up there in the northern US?! I have just put my son and his daughters on the plane to Newark en route to their home in Norway. It's 82F/28C here and minus-something in Newark where they'll be spending the night because the plane was late leaving. Oslo isn't exactly in the middle of a heatwave, but at least the temperature will be in positive territory when they arrive. I guess the Global Warming boys and girls are in the ascendance over there. There ought to be a law...
