I like this thread but I think I will post about what I did today rather than what will I do today because things don't always go according to plans. smile

Today was a fairly productive day. For the household: Laundry, moved some holiday boxes into the storage, moved some culinary supply bins into my office from my husband's, made necessary phone calls, picked up fresh produce, returned to a store for a 40% sales credit, meal planned with my daughter, colored my hair at home.

For work: Worked on two new ebooks (only for about an hour each though), caught up on email and social networking. Prepped for out-of-house job tomorrow (testing students).

Distractions: Did an quick online survey for someone who asked, searched futilely for some important bill contact information (ugh), scanned a few online articles/news, chatting periodically with my husband who worked out of the house today (he always bugs me when he is taking a break or wants food.) Looked online for some patio furniture and sofa covers. I also chase my email by checking my inbox all day long when I'm on the computer. That is a big waste of my time, I see.

I really wanted to make more progress on those ebooks. I need to devise a good schedule to keep me on track or at least prioritize my activities!

I generally post at night so day is done - like you it is what I have done today.

Bible study and social time with the girls this morning. Delivered meatballs to church for a funeral. Purchased ink at Office Max/Depot. Stopped at the grocery store for a few things. Tried to straighten out a problem with a laptop. Sopped up the water that spewed from the hose that split on the washing machine. Cooked dinner. Several phones calls. Now I'm reading.

Grandson here tomorrow. smile

P.S. Yesterday I spent almost 5 hours in my office doing research and filing. Like you, I made a dent.

Yesterday I went to bed at 3:34 and got up at 12:08. I watched Dr Phil at 15:00, Judge Judy at 16:00, the Second Round of Rafael Nadal at the Rio Open (on tv) and the Dallas Stars at 20:30. It was an average night and an horrible day.

Today I will be heading to the library to make a return. Also, I am working on my notes -- getting ready for the Chapter Book Challenge for children's writers. Routine house chores will be poking intrusively into my day such as cooking, taking out the trash, shopping, etc. I'd also like to stop by a friend's house to return a tote bag but thinking about putting that off until tomorrow.

I will tweak the second chapter of my sequel novel To Die For:It's Complicated. This novel is a serious challenge that I just love.
