We just harvested some turnip greens from our raised bed garden. Concrete blocks make a great raised bed. PVC pipe can make a half-hoop to drape plastic over. It is a great way to extend the growing season.

Instead of butter, I am spreading a bit of coconut oil on my fruit and fiber muffins. Tasty!

I know that it will sound strange, but here is what I had for breakfast:
*fruit, nut and fiber muffin
*almond milk
*Muenster cheese
*greeb beans with muffalatta olive salad
*water
*coffee

I sliced peppers, two kinds of squash, and onions in the food processor. Then, I lined two large baking sheets with foil and added olive oil. The veggies were tossed with olive oil and seasonings, then baked at 450 degrees F. for about 40 minutes. Great food!

Tonight I'm fixing a casserole with brown rice, quinoa, broccoli, turkey breast and cheese. I'm binding the whole thing together with the ever-popular cream of mushroom soup from ALDI. Do you shop at ALDI? They have added so many nutritious fruits, veggies, and frozen foods.

A rotisserie chicken is a good nutritional buy. It can be used for sandwiches, salads, and casseroles.

This morning I had half of a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, with milk and a tangerine, for breakfast.

Blueberries with Greek yogurt and a sprinke of brown sugar make a good breakfast or dessert.

I add a handful of frozen cherries to my lemon-ginseng tea to cool it down. The cherries add antioxicents, color, and flavor.
