Does anyone here understand the study of DNA - chromosome comparisons; determining relationships with autosomal tests; and things like that? I participated in a DNA test but some of this stuff is way over my head.

I know it's not infallible. In the case of identical twins, there's no way to tell who did a crime, can't establish paternity, etc. So let's say two twins are given away at birth. They don't know about each other. One commits a murder and the other is arrested. That twin has no idea he has an identical twin so guess who goes to jail -- the innocent one.
