Hey guys! I have recently replaced my windows. This time I have spent huge bucks on getting them installed. I do not want a sudden replacement at least for the next 10 years. But I live in an area where I can expect strong winds. How do I take care of my windows? I need advice on maintaining them. Replacing them again is not something that I cannot afford. Any advice

Hi! It’s a common problem. I see that your house is in a storm prone area. There is something called storm windows. You can get them installed. It acts as a layer of protection to your existing windows. Or you can get hurricane shutters, but you need to get them only if you've got frequent hurricanes. Some people do not like shutters or an extra fitting to their beautiful glass windows. If you are one such, you must have asked for high impact windows. They are double pane tempered glass separated by a plastic film, but they look like the normal windows. There are several ways to protect windows. There is an article titled : “tips to make your windows last” in the site Window Choice, where they have mentioned many good ways in which you can maintain your existing.
