Can someone tell me how to beat the boss on the airship. I have been trying for days and cant seem to get him. I have read so many walkthroughs to see how others have done it, but still I cant get him. Please help if you can.

it's been a while since I beat her, so I will try to remember. Use Wakkas balls and Lulus magic, and whoever else can do damage without being close to Evrae (in my case Khimari had som black magic spells). Don't really bother to cast slow on her when she hastes herself, she will just cast haste again right away. Then it's better to cast haste on your own caracters. When she starts doing her swooping Scythes often, it means she is nearly done for. Have Tidus tell cid to pull away and if there is any damage have Rikku throw al-bhed potions, they heal all. Then have wakka or Lulu as the third person, constantly hitting her. Soon she is GONE! Make sure you have plenty of antidote or remedy in case you can't pull away quick enough and she poisons you. she also does petrify, so have soft. Hope this helps you. This is how I beat her anyway.

Use Haste/Hastega at the start of battle and slow on Evrae
ask Cid to pull back
Let Lulu and Wakka do the damaging and allow Tidus to raise the party's strenght and defense
when Evrae cast Haste on himself, use Slow again
If he comes closer, ask Cid to pull back again
use Delay Attack/Buster so that Cid will pull back the ship ASAP

Stock up on Antidotes, Softs, and Al-Bhed Potions from Rin. Customize Poison Ward and Stone Ward onto your armors. If one of your characters get stoned, just use an Al Bhed potion. Besides healing 1,000 HP, they'll also cure poison and petrification. IIRC, deal damage up close until he inhales. Than have Cid pull back, and start dealing damage with your distance people. Of course, Haste will help you wonders. When he gets down to 16,000 HP, he'll cast Haste on himself and you'll never be able to slow him down. Just try to avoid his Breath attack at all costs. Oh, and make sure you have some extra Al Bhed potions after the fight, seeing as how you'll have to fight your way through a horde of enemies without the ability to save in between.

Yeah, I had a lot of problems with her too. Just make sure your people have a decent amount of HP (3000+) and caste Hastaga on your party. When you're far away, use Wakka's overdrives/attacks and Lulu's magic. And when you get close, just keep hitting and use overdrives. Then, when she uses Breath, cure everyone with Al Bhed Potions.
