i have no reflect, no poison protection, no shell or protect spells.......how do i beat eavre????? everytime i fight the damn thing it beats me up!!! i need help!!!!!

buy antidotes from rin and customise your weapons before you fight him make sure wakka can cast darkthe best team to go with is wakka,rikku and lulu[if she has good spells]always keep as far away as you can[get rikku to pull away on the command menu]have wakka to cast dark,lulu to cast lightning,and rikku to use al_bhed potions. if he gets in close change lulu for your best hitter till you pull away again and it should be a easy fight <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Evrae is reaaaally annoying one of your options is to keep battleing in the ship before u fight to get sphere levels... and then teaching it stuff... try to have as much al-bhed potions! those help my tactic was to keep it far away and then using lulu rikku to heal and kimahri or wakka after he casts haste beat him up and then use kimaris overdive self-descrust so that u crushh him!

uhm well i think u should battle all the bombs on board and get TONS of fire gems i think it was...or whatever u steal from them and make sure kimahri learns self-destruct from them. have auron use power break on evrae and then it's physical attacks will take away about half as much so that really helps. make sure u cast hastega on all ur characters and if hes blinded and you have hastega then id say take the more daring approach and fight him up close. only pull away when he inhales and you know hes going to do poison breath, cuz photon spray is much less damaging. hope this helps and good luck.

Thing is...you don't need super-advanced characters on the sphere grid; it helps a hell of a lot, but you can beat Evrae by putting as many folks in haste as possible, tons of Al Bhed potions, and Rikku in overdrive wouldn't hurt one bit. A level 2 k.s. and a level 4 k.s. can do about 9999. If she's not in overdrive and you have gil to blow, spare change is also very handy.

Also, staying close or far away is up to you.
I have a much better (and quicker) time with Evrae when I stay up close and only pull back when poison breath comes. Move back in immediately though.

Here's what I did that stupid is really ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure Tidus already learned this abilities
Haste or Hastega
Slow
Delay Attack/Delay Buster
Lulu needs to learn -ga spells as well(As much as possible)
Make sure they're strong enough
At the beginning cast Haste/Hastega at ur allies and slow on Evrae
Ask Cid to pull back
Have a party of Tidus, Wakka and Lulu
If it is the turn of Tidus, always use Cheer
When Evrae cast HAste on himself, cast Slow again!
When u think he will use Poison Breath, use Delay Attack/Buster to delay his turn and for Cid to pull back the ship ASAP
