My cat Juliet has a small red skin bump, here's two photos of it, one with the fingers for scale -





I believe it's a relatively harmless Pyogenic granuloma - i.e. a skin bubble that happens when the skin is scratched or such. Which makes sense, the blood vessels bulge out a bit.

Has anyone else had this?

No, never...but I had my Simba to the vet today. He started getting bumps on his skin that I thought were like skin tags that humans get. I checked real good to make sure he didn't have a tic. The bumps spread and he had a bad rash just above his tail. Anyway..turns out the vet found a couple fleas on him and he's allergic to the flea bites. I was totally shocked..none of my cats go outside. Rocky started the bumps behind the ears too so now all three are being treated for fleas, Rocky and Simba are getting pills for the allergy bumps and I've got the name of a flea spray to mist my floors and furniture with. My poor baby, I felt sooooo bad. Hope the red bump is benign like you think it is.

Hi, my dog has exactly the same red bump. I thought it was a tick but it's only bleeding, not coming out. What happened with your cat?
