Hello everyone,

A very warm welcome to the Self Development Forum!

Thanksgiving is a Harvest festival celebrating gratitude for peace and harmony. Do you know why it is pertinent to your personal and self development, and to your life today and every day?

See: Thanksgiving Harvest Festivals and Gratitude

How do you normally celebrate Thanksgiving?

I'd love to receive your feedback so do add your comments, queries, thoughts, etc., to this Forum thread.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Warm wishes
Joy

I thought I would host the day but we moved it to my son's and DIL's house. The turkey is there now and I'll just bring some side dishes. I'm looking forward to seeing the family. It is so difficult to connect sometimes even though we live in the same area.

I would like to bring up stories and bring photos of family to this gathering.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Hi Angie, it sounds like you had wonderful plans for Thanksgiving this year. How many people did your turkey have to feed in the end?
Warm wishes, Joy

There were 8 of us and there were left overs LOL. One grandson is 14 and one is 10. The 14 year old is addicted to his tablet.

Hi Joy. My daughter in law said she is doing Thanksgiving this year. I've made up my "cooking" list of what to bring. There may be 10 of us. I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving too.

I've always enjoyed having the family over but it's time to share the responsibility. I guess we could call it, "passing the baton."
