When we lived in our old 1926 house, every year for about 3 months the harvestmen invaded our bathroom. They took up residence in our ancient iron tub. When it was time for a bath, we gently swept them out, had the bath, then they moved back in. It was a yearly ritual, and one that we did not mind.

Connie,

I am curious. Did you have a garden in which to place them? Did you put them into the garden, but they continually returned to the tub? Was the house in a cool weather state? I look forward to reading the details. smile
