Today I spent money in three places. 34,57$ at the Familiprix of Amqui (5,41$ for my pills 5,19$ for toothpaste 9,99$ for face cream and 6,99$ twice for 2 easter chocolate [big hollow bunnies.....1 has blue eyes and the other pink eyes...both also have a matching ribbon]), 49,44$ for waxing (underarms & arms & half legs) and I also (did not have the time before my appointment...she was going there anyway) asked my mom for a pack of AAA batteries at the dollar store (2$...thats what i gave my mom after we were back).

TheFriends of the Library began their semi annual book sale today - of course, I purchased some books and videos. How can you resist when the prices range from 50 cents to $2.

I purchased 4 DVDs (kids stuff), 1 CD (kids music), and 2 paper back books for me. $10. I can't pass it up because I am a member and I worked 'til 4pm. I've been a member of the Friends for umpteen years. Friends work hard for their libraries.

It was the first of my two days off today so I went shopping for food - what else! LOL

I was frugal and still spent $140.00 on groceries along with cat food and kitty litter for 3 cats. Have enough food for 7 meals though...Not bad giving I live in New York! smile Forgot the milk and toilet paper! Got to go to the store again now...Cya!

I spent $200 on groceries and $450 on utilities. Have to make another trip back to the grocery store to get blue cheese dressing and bread. Forgot that.

I went to two Goodwills today and got some household stuff -

-three bath towels at one dollar each (all we had here was one beach towel and one hand towel, and some washcloths)
-a bath mat - 2 bucks
-file cabinet - 5
-toaster - 4.50
-vintage breadbox - 3
-vintage flour sifter - 3.50

...and I returned the keyboard that i bought, as half the keys were dead, so i got $2.50 back.

We did get subs at subway, so that was an expense I hadn't planned on, but i only ate half, so the leftovers will make a nice meal tomorrow.

No expenses today, so that's good. i've been working on using up the things I own before buying more.
