I found an loseit.com app for weight control. I'm not good at dieting but I do want to lose about 7 pounds. The app just makes me aware of what I am eating. After three days, I did lose a pound.

Angie I love the "lose it" app. I especially love the scan feature where you can scan the barcode to bring up the nutrition data. How is it going so far? Are you able to use the app pretty consistently?

I've used it everyday - I have lost 1.5 lbs so far. I use the app just to make me feel guilty about eating cookies every time I enter and leave the kitchen. smile I've also cut down on my portions. I try to be as honest as I can when entering information into the app.

Actually, that's not bad - the slow loss is good - it's hard to keep it off.

I agree Angie and TopsyTurvy. It is more effective to lose weight at a rate of 1-2 lbs per week. Losing too much, too soon leads to a loss of lean muscle. You guys keep up the great work. The apps and logging your food and calories is so helpful in keeping you accountable and within your daily calorie range. Thanks for your posts smile
