Hello everyone,

This week's article is about how GMs can streamline the game-preparation process. Players, you can read it too, and pass it along to your kind and caring GMs! We do a lot of work to make sure everyone enjoys themselves and this article is about keeping much of that work from being redundant. Yes, even bestiaries.

Players, in which areas would you prefer your GM not to 'skimp?' Have you communicated to them that you particularly enjoy a certain aspect of the game, or their games?

GMs, at which point do you decide that streamlining is cheating or not fun? Or, how many times did you reinvent the wheel before you realized that's what you were doing?

GM muses, what's the longest prep binge you've seen your friend undertake in order to prepare a game? A session? Since you're on the outside looking in, is there anything you've seen done where you wonder why it must be done over and over again? In other words, do you see ways of streamlining the process where we don't?
