Earlier in the year CEO Mike Jeffries insulted fat and ulgy people by saying Ambercrombie and Fitch wasn't made for them because they are well, fat and ugly. This led to a lot of backlash throughout the media and social media.

It seems now that the company is doing badly they want to open up their size range to make a few extra bucks from plus size shoppers. Personally, I'd rather spend my money on "snake oil".
