So many thriller authors write a series of books with the same characters who grow and develop as the books progress, such as James Patterson's Alex Cross, Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta, and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. Do you have a favorite series? When a new book of your favorite series comes out, do you skip everything else and read that book first?

I really loved the old-time "Suspense Mystery Theater" and "Alfred Hitchcock" series myself.

As a kid I used to read the "Nancy Drew Mystery" series.

Right now, my husband is really interested in the "Kind of Thrones" & the 1992-2013 "Wheel of Time" series.

I'm more of the visual/listening individual. He's the "speed-reader" in the family.
