If everybody could share their GoodReads accounts here, we can all support each other.

I also highly suggest, if you have books you've written, to sign up for this group -

Making Connections

You can get reviews of your book here, which can be useful for you for boosting sales and for using in your promotional material.

Post if you have other ideas about using GoodReads!

My author page is here -

Lisa Shea Author

I recommend customizing your author page as much as possible. Update it regularly. Fill it full of details about your writing. Post videos if you can. Post reviews of books in your topic area - that way people see those reviews, click to learn more about you, and see you also write books about that topic.

What else have you guys done on GoodReads?

I just opened an account today and have to wait one day to set up an author page. When I do, I will list my author page and sign up for Making Connections.

Lisa, what do you think about a BellaOnline group at Goodreads? We could list all our books on the group "bookshelves." It would be a convenient meeting place for us all to find each other at Goodreads.

Is GoodReads a good idea for Non-fiction books as well? Sandra, is this the case for you? I'm assuming your book(s) is Non-fiction since you are the investing editor, but I could be wrong smile I am in the process of writing my first ebook. I'm doing NaNoWriMo, too. I need a little "push" to get this first book done. GoodReads is very intriguing, just not sure if it pertains to me... Thanks for your input!

Amy,

I am just new to Goodreads so Lisa may be able to answer this better. I believe that it is a good idea for non-fiction. Yes, my book is non-fiction and I am hoping that signing up for Making Connections will help with getting reviews. So go for it!

I am sure that there are people who read non-fiction on Goodreads. It sounds a great place to build a fan base.
