Will Ferrell usually doesn’t make the kind of movies I like, ie “Blades of Glory†(Thanks, I’ll pass), but I love movies about political campaigns ie “Primary Colors†so I gave “The Campaign†a chance and oddly I liked it!
It was far more serious than what I expected. I thought it was going to be silliness and slapstick from beginning to end. There were some mildly humorous parts, some dark comedic parts. For the most part though there was a good story, and even a nice message about staying true to your values.
What a surprise!
