Sometimes I wonder if I didn't read far enough into the questions already posted. Forgive me if this is old hat.

a) Should I be able to get EVERY Jecht sphere if I try to go back and get them all? I was a very sloppy player and only had 3 or so by the end, and I thought I went back to every place listed on the bellaonline site, but there are some (like the one on the SS Liki (?)) I can't find. Is it too late for me?

b) Auron's limit break (or overdrive, as I casually forget now and again) "banishing blade" looks really cool and all, but what does it do? I mean, does it do anything special other than slam the enemy for 9999? Not that I'm complaining, but it seems kinda pointless to have two overdrives that do that.

c) Anyone have any luck beating the first creation made by the monster hunter? I confess that I have had little luck in beating everything he's thrown at me, and I fear there is some painfully obvious way to beat some of these things. For example, Yojimbo made short work of the bird creation he made. Using Valefor makes the earthquake of the giant wyrm invalid. But I don't think I've really beaten anything else but those (and the thing created from capturing everything in the calm lands).

d) Where is the sunken cave? Somehow I captured things there, but I have no idea where it is to get the rest.

e) Is there any way for me to go back and use the destruction sphere in..Macalania temple? I don't remember which exactly, but I figure its the machina temple. I'm only missing one of them, and its rather frustrating to beat the stupid fiend in the water and not have a way out.

f) Does your blitzball team level matter?

g) I tried to capture some jerk fiend inside of sin, but he casts meteor or something like that when he's killed. So I can't use an aeon or counter attack to beat him, it has to be a capture weapon. Is the only way to ease the blow through building up?

h) In Wakka's Auroch Reels there is a sunshine symbol. I don't know what it does short of 9999 damage to everything (is that supposed to be good enough, or am I took picky?). Is that all? Auroch Reels is supposedly his best overdrive, but I find attack reels to be much more effective. Am I missing something?

i) Can anyone tell I haven't gotten to talk to anyone about this game ever?

a)yes you can go back use the airship

b)all of aurons overdrives do the same damage just a different look, and he has 4

c)level up more man, they are all cake, besides nemisis

d)sunken cave is in the calm lands, its the cave where you get yojimbo

e)you can go to any of the temples and do it over

f)of course it matters, well that is if you want wakkas last few overdrives and want his legendary weapon all powered up

g)that guy is cake, use auto-life on someone...

h)attack reels is his best overdrive... and yes thats all

also you can do 99,999 damage, thats the max all you need to do is get break damage limit on a weapon... i recomend getting all the legendary weapons, it comes on them all, when you power them up fully with the crests and sigils

(1) You get Jecht's sphere on the SS Liki if you ride that boat from Besaid Island to Kilika and it is in the cabin of the captain. If you manage to get all 10 spheres, you complete all of Auron's overdrives esp. Tornado. It's the best overdrive he has.
(2)Banishing Blade does armor break (if you play FFX international)
(3)what first creation? the chimera geist? be specific. if it's the chimera geist, summon bahamuth or anima or the magus sisters if you don't want to waste your gil on Yojimbo since he does zanmato randomly. They can really hurt him.
(4)the sunken cave is the cave of the stolen fayth.
(5)Macalania temple is where you first fought Seymour (and where you got Shiva). If you play the FFX international version, don't bother going back coz Dark Shiva will just kick you dead if your characters aren't in their max stats. But if your FFX is another version, then go back freely.
(6)Blitzball team level matters. In the beginning, it's okay if you get beaten by every team but if you want to recruit new members, hire Al Bhed and Guado's coz they are really good. Look for players with high levels (like Berrick which you can find in the airship). Wait for those players' contracts expire with the teams their playing and immediately hire them. Also, don't forget to learn Tidus' special shot called 'Jecht Shot' which you'll learn if you won the Jecht Shot challenge on the SS Liki. Hire Wakka, too coz he's a good shooter.
(7)Level up is the best answer. If your characters' defenses are 60+ and HP are at around 7000. You'd be able to capture the Behemoth King without him killing your party with his meteor something.
(8)auroch reels is Wakka's ultimate overdrive but it doesn't matter as long as he does 9999 damage or more.

banishing blade sometimes kickes away 1 enemy

oh...i thought banishing blade in the u.s. version did power break, armor break, and mental break...im not sure tho. i use it a lot, but i never really pay attantion to that stuff, thats just what i heard.

Well, now that I've gotten many many answers, most of which have been useful, I'm going to clarify a bit.

The first monster created was the Earth Eater, and everyone says I just need to be high leveled in order to beat him. I'm not a big fan of answers like this, espcially because he is doing more than 10K damage at a time. I figure there is a pattern to how many people he feels like killing at once, or maybe protect actually does something eventually. In any case, I'm still not fortunate enough to have beaten him just yet.

I'm not sure which of the temples it is that I didn't use the destruction sphere in. I don't have the international version of FFX. The one I'm missing is represented by the pedestal closest to the screen on the left. I think this is the machina temple. I'm not sure anymore where this temple is.

I'm trying to get Wakka's final weapon, but I'm missing one of the items you win from blitzball (I already have the legendary ball thingy as well as the treasure from the locker room). Any guesses as to how high my team level should be before I get a chance at getting it?

And speaking of blitzball, how do I use the tech find ability? I've won it a number of times, but perhaps I am misusing it and cannot see the result...

Sounds Like it could be Zanarkand's, go here to check for sure http://www.bellaonline.com/gaming/strategy_lib_ffxwalk_55.html If you can't get back into a temple, be sure you have visited Highroad. I know for sure the Guado's will be blocking one before going the the Highroad.

Wakka's Jupiter Sigil is what you need. Personally I got it after playing 100 games. Luckily my sister was able to learn a trick to getting it much sooner. I believe she was around game 53. After finishing your current league, save - then reset until the sigil shows up. Then all you have to do is win that league and it's all yours.

What you really need are ultimate weapons and some ultimate armor for your characters. Your close to getting Wakka's so you must know how to get the weapons. Armor will be have to be customized and be whatever it is you prefer.

If you have someone that has an ultimate weapon fully charged start fighting Juggernaut for strength spheres. You'll need to caputer 5...Dual Horns (Mi'ihen Highroad), Valahas (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth), and Grendels (Mt. Gagazet) to create JUGGERNAUT. Once you've captured enough creatures the monster arena guy will start selling clear spheres. Use them to replace junk (mostly anything with points under 4) to be strenght+4. It shouldn't take too long to get that character up to 255(Max). Then you can put other characters with their weapon in that area of the sphere grid to make them stronger.
Also NulBlaze is effective against Juggernaut.
