Do you shop for beads online or use a local store? What do you recommend?

I use Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I just like being able to look at the beads up close and personal.

This is a very good topic to write about and one I've been planning to write about for a while. Kind of lost track of time trying to reach another deadline.

Short answer- both, but locally owned bead stores are my preference for nearly everything. Locally owned stores depend on local business to stay open, and provide a community of people who can help answer questions and give you the chance to see the finishes, feel the materials, etc in real life.

i would like to recommend the online shop "nbeads.com" for you. You can find all kinds of materials of jewelry making on the shop.

I have purchased some unusual beads at bead shows. I am looking for a listing of vendors that attend these shows. Does anyone have a lead for this? Thanks
